Looking for a maritime career? Here’s a job fair
Celebration organizers say they are on the lookout to seek the services of the two entry-degree and experienced tradespeople.
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — If you are hunting for a maritime profession, a nearby organization is internet hosting a task honest in Williamsburg.
The fair, in partnership with Tidewater Staffing and Virginia Profession Functions, will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 29. It will be at 4601 Opportunity Way, room 118, in Williamsburg.
Event organizers say they are on the lookout to use both equally entry-level and proficient tradespeople. No working experience is required for entry-level positions and teaching is no cost.
All those interested can earn shipyard certifications even though they are doing work entry-amount careers. The starting pay back $7/hr for the working day shift and $18/hr for the night change.
Any individual attending the function is asked to provide their resume, state-issued identification card, delivery
certificate and a superior school diploma.
